Short sales can result in good deals for buyers. This particular property was in terrible shape and had some unfortunate circumstances that my client wasn’t concerned with. In the end she ended up saving about 15% off what the home would have sold for. The condition required some new painting and flooring, approximately a $15k investment. Now that we have closed we are currently in the process of installing high quality flooring, Brazilian Walnut to be specific. Also my client chose some paint colors for the rooms.
